For the curved curbside rock guard and driver side rock guard we typically ask for either a tracing or the original acrylic rock guard to be sent in. This ensures that we trim the curved window to the proper shape. We have noticed there is some minor shape variations between frames that can lead to a poor fit. We do not need tracings for the flat center rock guard but do ask to confirm dimensions.
All our rock guards are made with the same dark smoked acrylic used at the factory when these are made new.
